Dot Go is the first object interaction app. Which means that it not only detects objects but also connects them to actions. These actions could be sounds, vibration or external actions in other apps, websites, and even smart home devices.
The idea was to create something that assisted visually impaired people in interacting with their surroundings. By connecting objects in the environment with actions, people can experience the world in their own way. Anyone can start creating their own or download existing presets. What's really cool about this app is that it's a platform for the community, and so, the use-cases are endless. The object interaction component is an exciting new mechanism in accessibility technology. Shoutout to Serviceplan Innovation, Dot Inc., and Hyperinteractive!
